Meet the Owners
Miss Barb and Miss Suzi are our executive directors, with decades of dedicated experience in dance instruction. In addition to teaching classes at our studio, they are also members of Dance Master of America and are on faculty for their national conventions.
We are excited to announce that Miss Barb is the 2023 Presidents Award recipient of Dance Masters and will be honored this July in Atlanta, Georgia. We are so proud of her and her many accomplishments!
Why Our Studio is Different
We focus on developing the whole child at Barb Denny’s Studio of Dance Arts. Our staff has decades of experience working with children, including several faculty members with degrees in Childhood Education, and we strive to create a supportive and caring environment for our students that result in supportive and kind dancers and teammates.
Families are welcome in our studio every day, and we host multiple family-oriented events each season including a Halloween party, Christmas Party, and other fun year-end activities.
Our staff’s loyalty, dedication and tenacity was put to the test during the 2020 dance season, and we passed with flying colors. The very next day after WNY shut down schools and dance studios, our staff flipped to offer virtual classes to our dancers in their homes. We were the first studio in WNY to build an outdoor stage and make sure our dancers had the opportunity to perform at an end-of-season outdoor recital. During a really dark and scary time, we were there.
We didn’t give up on our dancers during a global pandemic, and we certainly won’t give up on our dancers today. That's why so many of our alumni dancers return to our studio to continue dancing in adult classes or with their own children to receive dance instruction. Barb Denny's isn't your regular dance studio. "We Are Family".
